Modelling for Jack Codling in the summer 💛
This is an acrylic painting I did of Will Smith. Sometimes I just paint people I love. Will Smith is an amazing actor and has made me cry with both sadness and happiness! I realise the nose is AWFUL and it looks like a cartoon, I don’t know why the shading isn’t showing up in the picture, sorry.
This is a water colour I did also about a year and a half ago. It’s actually a copy of an artists work but I cannot for the life of me remember the artist! So we’ll just have to look and it be happy.
This is a painting of Marilyn Monroe I did about a year and a half ago. It’s only A4 and it’s currently stuck into one of my old sketchbooks. Tomorrow I am going to Yorkshire to see my family, but when I get back I plan to do a large version of this because I really like it! (black and white acrylic paint)
I have my skull painting up on my wall in my room now and it’s looks so good because it’s such a contrast from my lilac wall. Definitely going to use this painting technique again soon, the bleach has worked a bit more than in the picture now and the colours are so interesting!
I will still sell it though if anybody wants it…
Ink, bleach and white acrylic skull on an A2 canvas.
Dark blue ink outline and watered down white acrylic paint has created quite a nice look! Uploading a picture now incase I ruin it!
The ink is on and now I’m stuck. On the right eye (not in this photo as it literally just happened) the ink has dripped but I actually really like it. I think I’m going to wait for it to try properly and just keep adding layers until I’m happy with it.
Have now sketched the skull onto a canvas just a bit bigger than A3 size. Will be using ink and black so finish as I love the way the dots show through.
Been feeling very angry and frustrated recently so I keep drawing depressing things, such as this! Just a quick sketch of a skull with a ball point ink pen.
Haven’t uploaded anything in a while… to be honest, I haven’t actually even done any art in a while!
I’m going to start making clothes again soon as I haven’t done that since April and I miss it. Also going to start doing some ink and bleach again as it’s one of my favourite mediums to use.
Charlotte Free: water colour and biro.
I think it went ok, but the hair needs more detail.
I quite like scanning my pictures onto my laptop and then playing around with them. It looks quite good in black and white!
Some more of the detail done. (I upload pictures during each stage because I’m convinced I’m going to ruin it.)
Currently in the process of drawing Charlotte Free. She’s beautiful and I wish I was her. Only done a pencil outline so far (but took a picture in case I ruin it with paint in a minute!) - will continue to add details and then eventually get some water colour on there.
